About Dr. Newcomer

Alison Newcomer is a licensed clinical psychologist who currently sees children, adolescents and families in private practice in Baltimore, MD. She specializes in the treatment of OCD and anxiety as well as other difficulties that commonly present with anxiety. Parent and sleep coaching are also areas of expertise.

Dr. Newcomer’s clinical work also focuses on the integration of behavioral health service into pediatric primary care and school settings. She also has an extensive research background focusing on upstream prevention programs for children.

Dr. Newcomer received a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The Catholic University of America and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
